Still Waiting!

Well it's been a little over 2 years now and we were given an estimated time frame for our anticipated referral back in June of 30-90 days. As you can see we have surpassed that timeline. However we know how these things go and it was only an estimate. So we are hopeful for a referral any day now. Unfortunately the baby girl list seems to have come to slight halt. We know our agency has no control over this and they are doing everything they can. We just continue to hope and pray that our referral will come soon.

In the meantime, Andy has been keeping us extremely busy. He is in full-time daycare at wonderful facility while daddy and I work full-time. When we are with him, he certainly keeps us on our toes. He is so happy, incredibly active, very headstrong and smart. We couldn't have blessed with a more amazing little boy who we can't believe is now 3 1/2. Our long wait in his adoption process was well worth it because we've known without a doubt that he was meant to be our son and we couldn't be happier.

With that being said, we also know that our baby girls referral will come when it's meant to be. The waiting is just so hard, as all of our friends in the adoption community well know. I know that I have been really slack when it comes to updating this blog but I will post some new pics soon of our little guy and hopefully we will have some good news to share soon!)
